Profitability Ratio Analysis and Prediction of Changes in Leverage Against Earnings In Manufacturing Companies Registered in Jakarta Stock Exchange
The aim of this study is to empirically examine the effect of the ROA, ROE, and the DTA to the prediction of changes in earnings in manufacturing companies listed on the JSE in 2001 to 2003. Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression, t test, F test, with a total sample of 73 manufacturing companies. Based on the results of hypothesis testing a significant difference between the ROA with a predicted change in earnings. It can be seen that the significant value that indicates the number is smaller than 0.05 is 0.007.
