Indonesia has a diversity of plants that can be utilized for treatment, one of which is a thorn amaranth (Amaranthus spinous L.). This study aims to determine the toxicity of chloroform extract and ethanol extract of spinach leaves with thorns to larvae of Artemia salina Leach and to explore the possibilities of groups of chemical compounds contained in spinach leaves with thorns.
